Our favourite spring walks

Late spring is one of our favourite times to be surrounded by the beauty of Cornwall.  We are so happy to be part of such an extraordinary country and feel very privileged to be able to share it with you, our customers!

With June bringing with it the idea of sunshine, greenery and blossom we thought it was the perfect time to share our favourite Cornish walks with you, so you too can experience the wonders of our county.

  Rosemullion Head

The walk around Rosemullion Head is a circular walk and quite manageable at four miles. It includes breath-taking views across the Helford Estuary as well as scenic delights, such as the 14thcentury church it begins at and the idyllic fields of wild flowers.  We recommend stopping at The Red Lion Pub for a refuel and bevvie before continuing your trek.

The Hall Walk

If you are a fan of Daphne Du Maurier, this one is for you. Another 4-mile walk, this walk was one of Daphne’s favourites and takes you on a journey through the banks of Pont Pill and the tidal creek. Fowey is such a beautiful place and this is the perfect way to enjoy it.

 Crantock and Penpol Creek

The golden sands of Crantock beach are blessed with a raw beauty like no other. This walk is short and easy and starts at the National Trust Car Park.  Highlights include listening to the birdcall of the local wildlife,  taking a picnic by the beach. and if its warm enough, a quick dip!
