Text:  Beautiful bone china mugs bought for my husband as he really, really likes his tea from a bone china cup. Designs are gorgeous, quality is top notch and delivery and service is excellent. 

Be greeted by the Cornish coast every time you use this beautifully illustrated and designed bone china mug. A delicate Seahorse takes centre stage as it swims amongst fan coral and anemones. Along with the classic scallop shell, the mug presents a beautiful underwater ocean scene and is one of our regular favourites.

Bought 6 different designs all lovely but mugs do vary particularly in rim thickness and size. Difficult to see in the picture but rim is significantly thicker on one and one mug is higher than the other. Please overall but one of the issues of buying online you have to trust the person picking & packing.

We completely understand how it can feel a little frustrating to notice slight differences in the thickness of the mugs. Because our mugs are made from fine bone china, each one naturally shrinks a little differently in the kiln during firing. This means that no two pieces are exactly the same, which is part of the charm of handmade china. We do hope this doesn’t take away from the pleasure of enjoying your drinks in these beautiful mugs, and that you’ll continue to love using them.

Love all the mugs i received, all are beautiful and very nice to hold, they sit well in the hand and the rims of the mugs are refined and a pleasure to sip from. Love the three different creatures on this, especially the scallop, reminds me of st James.
