Text:  Lovely might add to my collection! First one was delivered broken but a replacement was despatched as soon as I contacted Cream Cornwall. Great quality bone china mug perfect for my morning cuppa!

One of our original designs, the Mackerel bone china mug is a timeless classic, reminiscent of the famous Cornish Stargazey Pie, salty seas and the local fishing heritage. You'll find the mackerel swimming around the middle with his head on one side and tail on the other.

I bought two mugs, a mackerel for me (pisces) and a crab for my partner (she is cancer) to replace the two I carelessly dropped down a wooden flight of stairs and smashed. We had been using them for our breakfast cuppa every morning for around five years and I was heartbroken when I dropped them. We both love the look of the mugs, they are fine enough to feel very special and are a joy to drink from. Prior to breaking, they still looked like new despite a daily cycle in the dishwasher.The replacements arrived very promptly and I loved the personal touch of an email thanking me for the order signed by Rebecca and Alison.  Here's to many more years of delightful morning cuppas and I wont make the mistake of trying to carry a tray one-handed down the stairs!

The mackerel fish design has lots of eye catching appeal, dark blue on a white background, it makes a statement.In fact I first saw it in a scene in the Annika crime series and immediately searched for it online. It's such a unique design I had no difficulty finding the mackerel fish mug that a now has pride of place in my household.
